From kayla.leonard at wisc.edu Sun Sep 1 11:40:08 2019 From: kayla.leonard at wisc.edu (KAYLA LEONARD) Date: Sun, 1 Sep 2019 16:40:08 +0000 Subject: [mspqc] Fall Welcome Picnic! Message-ID: Hi all, To celebrate a new academic year and welcome new graduate students (including MSPQC), the Physics Graduate Student Council would like to announce the second annual Welcome Picnic! The event will take place on Friday, Septermber 6 from 6-8pm at James Madison Park. We will be providing barbecue foods, music, and games. Plus ones are welcome. The PGSC will be providing foods including brats and burgers (meat and veggie for both). Older grad students, you are also welcome to bring food/drinks. If you'd like to bring an additional main course, side dish, dessert, or beverage, you can indicate so on the RSVP form. (Please note: glass and alcohol are prohibited by the parks department.) First years, just come meet everyone and enjoy, don't feel obligated to bring anything! You can also feel free to bring any games/activities you'd like -- the weather forecast looks beautiful (unlike last year!) Please RSVP using the following form by Wednesday at 5pm. https://forms.gle/waU7m63MgirUW9Qn7 Best regards, PGSC Social Committee [cid:a39a542c-1c42-45e2-ad2f-32d862f44e06] -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The layout and furniture design sketches are attached to this email so you have an idea of what it will look like. Please remove all of your belongings by the end of the day TODAY so that the old furniture can be removed and the new furniture installed next week. If everything goes as scheduled you will only need to be out of your office on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week. I will keep you updated if there are any unexpected delays and you will receive notice from me once it is okay to occupy the office again later next week. I’ve reserved 5280 Chamberlin Hall for the following hours so you have a place to study during your office remodel. Monday, September 30th 8am-5pm Tuesday, October 1st 8am-5pm Wednesday, October 2nd 8am-2:30pm Please let me know if you have any questions along the way. Thanks! Michelle -- Michelle R.Z.
