Now that the incoming class photos have been uploaded to our website, I wanted to send a reminder that you can provide or update your bio on the department website at any time. To do so, visit https://www.physics.wisc.edu/internal/update-my-directory-entry/ (you will be prompted to log in with your netID if you are not logged in already).

When filling out your bio, please remember it is the department?s university-affiliated website, not a personal website. You certainly can share some personal things that are appropriate if you want, but please use discretion.

The Employee Assistance Office will offer a presentation entitled "Fostering a Positive Work Environment" in PHYSICS 701 on Friday (12:05-12:55, 1313 Sterling).  They have kindly offered to welcome any Physics graduate student who would like to attend.  If you're interested in joining us, please let me know by 4pm on Thursday so I can be sure to reserve a larger room if we need it.
