From tulika at hep.wisc.edu Fri Mar 22 10:48:29 2024 From: tulika at hep.wisc.edu (Tulika Bose) Date: Fri, 22 Mar 2024 10:48:29 -0500 Subject: [tac-hep-faculty] TAC-HEP week at FNAL: May 20-24 Message-ID: <1e45e144-bf77-42c4-92fc-5aefa04ae5de@hep.wisc.edu> Dear all, As some of you may know, we are planning the annual TAC-HEP week at Fermilab this year from May 20-24. The trainees will spend that week there and take advantage of dedicated talks, tutorials, hands-on sessions etc. Mentors (faculty and others) are very welcome to attend. For planning related to the logistics, we need everybody who plans to attend to fill out the spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pkndJVpxC3VmOAsHZrtE0zg810spikxUv4OKeP-PAdc/edit?usp=sharing There are separate tabs for trainees and mentors. There is an important question about Fermilab access that should be filled out. For people who do not have access currently, if they plan to take advantage of FNAL computing and/or visit FNAL after the TAC-HEP week, they should apply for a standard FNAL access/badge valid for a year. However, if somebody will be visiting for just that week and not using FNAL computing, a business visitor access/badge would be the easiest. If applying for standard FNAL access/badge, the process needs to be started soon i.e. by next week to make sure there are no surprises. Please fill out the form by next week, the earlier the better. If you have any questions or clarifications, please write to me. Many thanks and best regards, Tulika
