ISS has many fun and informative events planned for our students this spring semester! Please feel free to share widely. Although student workshops will be catered to our international student population, events are open to all students.

• Thursday, February 8 – Optional Practical Training (OPT) 
• Monday, February 19 – OPT "Ask Me Anything"
• Monday, February 26 – Curricular Practical Training (CPT) 
• Thursday, March 7 – CPT "Ask Me Anything"
• Thursday, April 4 – STEM Extension OPT Part I
• Thursday April 11 – STEM Extension OPT Part II
• Thursday, May 2 – Program Completion Options

Engagement Events 

In addition to the ISS advising workshops, the Global Engagement Team has planned many fun events for students this semester! Students can see ways to get involved and review our events calendar on our website here. Some program highlights are: 

• Welcome (Back) Game Night – Thursday 2/1/2024
• International Reach – a cross-cultural speakers program 
• Global Café – events hosted by student organizations where students learn about new cultures 
• PEACE – English conversation and cultural exchange  
• End of Semester Events – We will be hosting a study week, graduation cap decorating and hosting a graduation celebration in May
