Dear MSPQC students,
I know that most of you are already involved in research projects.
I became aware today of a research opportunity on campus in prof.
Goldsmith’s group.
In this position you would acquire skills working with optical fibers and more specifically producing fiber mirrors to create fiber cavities, which are used in a variety of physical and biophysical projects.
Control of light–matter interactions is central to numerous advances in quantum communication, information, and sensing.
Professor Goldsmith is a faculty member of WQI.
Let me know soon if anyone is interested in working in this project.
Thank you,
Katerina
