Dear MSPQC Students: Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from the MS in Physics--Quantum Computing program! The UW-Madison Physics Department is excited to celebrate you and your amazing accomplishments at the Summer 2024 MSPQC Graduation Ceremony and Reception. This event is open to all MSPQC graduates, their guests, and MSPQC faculty and staff. You may want to attend this graduation ceremony if you:
* Graduated in Spring 2024 and did not attend the Summer 2023 MSPQC graduation ceremony/event * Plan to graduate in Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 * Plan to graduate in Spring 2025 and wish to celebrate with others in your cohort/don't know if you will remain in the area until August 2025 for the next ceremony
The Summer 2024 MSPQC Graduation Ceremony and Reception will take place Friday, August 9, 2024 @ 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Discovery Buildinghttps://www.map.wisc.edu/s/pbmpjyiu, Deluca Forum room, in Madison, WI. NOTE: You can attend this program ceremony and a campus-wide graduation ceremony. However, we currently only offer the MSPQC-specific event during summers, so for some of you (planning to move post-graduation, etc.) this may be your only opportunity to attend this event.
RSVP is required for this event. Please complete the RSVP even if you do not plan to attend the event (this will just help me get an accurate guest count-if you are not attending and RSVP "no" the survey will only take about 10 seconds to complete). * The first page of the survey is the RSVP information I need as I confirm details for the event. * The second page of the RSVP asks you to reflect on your experience and share a bit so that I can create a more personalized ceremony presentation. * Finally, I ask that you upload a photo you would like me to use of you for the ceremony presentation-if I do not receive an image from you, I will use the one you sent to me in your first semester. If you run into any issues uploading an image in the Qualtrics survey, please just email me the image you would like me to use.
Other ceremony details to consider: Attire You may choose to wear either graduation attire or business casual attire.
