Hello MSPQC Students!

The Spring 2022 schedule of classes is NOW available at https://enroll.wisc.edu/search?term=1224&subject=754

As a reminder, Spring 2022 enrollment begins on November 15th, 2021, so I’m writing to you to provide you important details about registering for courses.

The Graduate School policy on enrollment requirements indicates that 8 credits are needed for full time status in the Spring semester (https://grad.wisc.edu/documents/enrollment-requirements/).

Our Spring 2022 Semester officially begins on January 25th, 2022 (https://registrar.wisc.edu/dates/)

Before you enroll:

Please connect with your faculty advisor and discuss the courses you wish to take. Then, complete your Course Plan at (https://app.physics.wisc.edu/gradvise/course-plan/) and obtain approval from your advisor. This step will help us guarantee that you will be on track to graduate. If you anticipate that a class will have competitive enrollment, please do not wait to enroll as it can always be dropped prior to the start of the semester with no repercussions.

 

Physics 799:

For those of you who need to enroll in Physics 799, please email me with details of who you will be working with (and CC that faculty member on the email) and I will respond to you with directions on how to enroll in that section. If you do not know who you will be working with, don’t worry, you’ll likely learn from Professor Robert Joynt in Physics 701 this semester.
