Beyond the Tenue Track or BTT refers to the wide variety of jobs that are not tenure-track faculty positions. They might be in higher education/academia or completely outside of that arena,
in government, industry, or in the nonprofit world. Our goal in promoting a series of BTT events each year is to offer support and resources to the many, many students whose goal is or will be to work in this broader realm after graduating with an advanced
degree from UW-Madison.
