Good Morning Physics Grad Students, (CC Physics Faculty)
As you may be aware, Chancellor Blank issued a statement regarding the July 6th guidance from the Student and Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVP) regarding F-1 international student enrollment for Fall 2020. International Student Services (ISS) has also issued an update about what they know at this time. There is also an ISS information session for international students on Thursday, July 9th from 8-9am. I hope you will consider joining this session to get the most updated information directly from ISS.

Please know the Department of Physics is carefully monitoring the situation and will share further details with you as they become available. International students are a vital part of community in physics at UW and we are carefully considering the impact this will have on all incoming and current students in our graduate programs. We are here to support you in this stressful time and we will navigate this together. Feel free to request an individual meeting with me at any time to talk about this or any other concerns.
Best, Michelle

Hello MSPQC, I tried to send this message to you all this morning but for some reason it sent one from last fall. Please disregard that one, and pay attention to the one below instead. Thanks! Michelle
