Dear MSPQC students, I know that most of you are already involved in research projects.
I became aware today of a research opportunity on campus in prof. Goldsmith's grouphttps://goldsmith.chem.wisc.edu/. In this position you would acquire skills working with optical fibers and more specifically producing fiber mirrors to create fiber cavities, which are used in a variety of physical and biophysical projects. Control of light-matter interactions is central to numerous advances in quantum communication, information, and sensing. Professor Goldsmith is a faculty member of WQI.
Let me know soon if anyone is interested in working in this project. Thank you, Katerina
